I think Stonk devised some method to fix the broken slider knobs, but as I recall you need to still have the broken bits left. They are hard to fix as the plastic part that breaks has very little material to attach to.

Trim parts are tricky as you basically need a donor unit - or re-make the parts - a member remade some aerial tips a few years ago. The panels, as Soren says, can be painted - the one on the forum was done so well that I bought myself a 700 to get the same done, only to find the cheap one I bought was in perfect condition! I didn't have the heart to change it!!

@ Ozcaver, search the forum, someone restored a Beolit and painted the panels, If the slider cannot be repaired, search, the AC/ batt switch is simple and may be repairable.

Post some pics please, and lets see what we comes up with

Hi, I have just found one of these radios. Unfortunately it has seen better days however it works and I'd love to try to breathe some new life into it, mostly cosmetically. The questions are: Are the removable coloured pannels obtainable? Mine are rather weathered and lacking. Are parts available for this radio? I require a slider tone control as the slider knob has been broken off at some stage. I also require the battery isolation switch which disconnects the battery when the AC lead is plugged into the radio. Apart from that, it works well and sounds great.

Can anyone help?.... Cheers
