thank you i manged to fix the problem, i selected a different box in the stb menu and all working perfectly fine, i spoke to a b&o enginner who advise that he always has problems with amstrad boxes and to use either a thomson or pace stb software.

I have had this issue - pressing the zero digit button switches the box on and off!

You could try a different PUC such as Pace Sky+

Or if it is a PIN code issue, try changing your PIN so it doesn't include a zero?

hi i also have just got the new sky 1tb box and stuck mine to the left of the logo whihc seems to works.

Please advise what software you are using from your list in the stb, I have used the thomson one which all works apart from when entering your pin code iinto the control for the movies the tv turns of whci i dont now whats wrong

yeah the ir sensor is in the middle of the digibox (the display part with play logo) I had to stand mine off using a loop of tape to work correctly i will post a picture in the morning if you need one?

Sky HD 1TB box problem with IR controller

I have just taken delivery of a new Sky HD 1TB box. I connected it up to my Beovision 7-40 tv. Initially I couldn't work the box via my BeO4 remote. I managed to get it to work by moving my sensor atround the front of the box. After switching the tv off the following day I was unable to get it to work again. Has anyone else had this problem and if so has anyone got a solution.
