Hi Paul

You need to turn on scart control in the picture settings of the sky box settings and this will cure your problems as pin8 on the scart switches on and off the box.

i to had this same issue i had to lift the sensor away from the skybox pm me your email address and i will send a pic of what i have done with mine to get round this issue!

I am also having problems with this 1TB box. My BV7-40 mkII had no problem with the IR when using the SKY HD+ box, but this new one does not appear to respond to the IR. My local B&O dealer admits that he does not know the correct position for the IR with this box, so if anyone does know, could they please advise where the IR should be placesd.

Its the first model when it first came out with the hd module. the strange thing is that it worked the first evening and then stopped when I switched it on the second night.

This sounds like a scart control issue? Can you confirm the type of your BeoVision 7.

Sky HD 1TB box problem with IR controller

I have just taken delivery of a new Sky HD 1TB box. I connected it up to my Beovision 7-40 tv. Initially I couldn't work the box via my BeO4 remote. I managed to get it to work by moving my sensor atround the front of the box. After switching the tv off the following day I was unable to get it to work again. Has anyone else had this problem and if so has anyone got a solution.
