I know several UK dealers who are repected all across the UK(and beyond) for installation work.

For a big job, I would suggest you obtain quotes from at least two - just to get a yardstick against your initial choice.

I would also insist on a breakdown of main items, cables, labour, accessories etc Don't take a "round figure" quote alone.

Of particular repute are Sheffield, King Street, Chester, Dublin and Preston - and I'm sure there are many more local to you as well.

Hi Gofer,

I had B&O Dublin fly over to me to install everything in my house. A friend had used them to install a full home installation with B&O, Lutron Kaleidescape in the past and raved about them. I was delighted with the end result. It did cost more for flights etc but only 2 of them came over and did the job in two days.

Can any members give me personal recommendations for custom install companies (with B&O specialisation) in the London area.

Looking at the interweb it's difficult to know where to start, so please chip in if you have some positive experience.

If either the mods feel or you are uncomfortable having your experience with an individual company on here as a matter of record then please feel free to PM me.
