Bluetack it in place, view it from all positions-if thats ok can you and yours reach its top cd position etc . &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Leave space in the wall where you can push your slack power/masterlink/co-ax/speaker cables.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Not sure if I understand you correct but the wall mounting frames for BS9000 have a hole for cables i.e. this would be the location to drill&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1) decide were to put the BS900&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2) hold the frame to the wall and mark the open spot on the frame&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;3) drill holes for the frame and a bigger hole for the cables (coax / power / speaker)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;4) mount the wallplate etc. etc.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I hope this will answer your question.
