As far as I remember, there might be a B&O specific software and/or service menu settings necessary for the pana pro display to work. Especially autocontrast, power on/off etc.

I used a pana th-42pw6 series display with a beosystem 2 (had to change some service menu entries).

So, unless you find the info here (?) or your dealer is willing to help...., there might not be a solution.

Swap out plasma in Beovision 4-65 for a new one?

I have a Beovision 4-65 and Beosystem 3.

My plasma is the series 8 plasma. Is it possible to purchase a new 65 inch panasonic pro plasma the 20 series and effectively re-frame it with my frame and back cover from the existing 4-65. The picture quality in the last 5 years has come a long way and in looking at the panasonic pro plasma it does not appear that there are any differences other than the frame and the glass in front. Is this possible?
