The AUX on the BC2500/2300 also has both Datalink pins connected, but to different Datalink protocols. Pin 7 has the "old" 8-bit pulse train codes for control of a second tape deck (TP2) or turntable (PH), while pin 6 is used for the Audio Aux Link to a video system. This means that communication on pin 6 is in the "new" Datalink 86 protocol.

Re: Beocenter 2500/2300 AUX

The Aux in back is an input, not an output. It's for an MP3 player, etc.

Beocenter 2500/2300 AUX

Hi all,

Quick question: does the AUX of BC2500/2300 give you the line level output of whatever function you're using, CD, Radio, tape, so you can connect it to the tape 2 input of for example, beomaster 8000?

Thanks!
