I Love the curtains. I remember buying a BV6 and was so disappointed and felt ripped off that it did not have them! I thought they were a part of B&O heritage.

Let's hope BV11 will have them but knowing B&O it will not as it is 'entry level' hmmm, no wonder i've moved on!

Re: BV6-26 Curtains

Bentleyman:

I have the 'electronic curtains' on a BV-5 and an old Avant.

I am alone in considering them to be the least impressive feature on a B&O tv..?

I find them completely pointless and not impressive at all

Well,

maybe nowadays. Btu honestly speaking, when i saw my first B&O (an AV9000,at a friend's house, maybe 1998-1999) with REAL curtains...well,i assure you that i was impressed...it was the 'icing on the cake'.

I mean, that AV9000 was like no other TV on that time,no SONY, no LOEWE would be so beautiful,so strange (in positive way)...and the electric curtains+motorized stand+Dolby Surround+.BEO4 +...well,basically EVERYTHING was so superior in comparison to other TVs.

Sorry for reply to an old trhead, but still today i remember how that AV9000 impressed me. I repeat, nowadays it can be considered like a B&O 'cliche',but really was a part of B&O magic in the past !

Re: BV6-26 Curtains

Bentleyman:

The curtains are just the "Magic" which is one of the things that makes B&O products different from the rest. They were introduced on AV9000 to give the user a bit of a cinema feeling. But I must agree, they have no real use besides the Magic effect.

Re: BV6-26 Curtains

I have the 'electronic curtains' on a BV-5 and an old Avant.
