I upgraded to Gold level at tuesday the 10th of May, I used my own Visa card for the payment and I was listed as gold member for the rest of the day

You are still Bronze level because I cannot seem to find any record of your upgrade payment unless you used a credit/debit card which is not in your name ?

What date did you upgrade to Gold and did you use a credit/debit card in your own name ?

Have you tried to sign out and back? Last time I upgraded the level didn't show correct stars util signing out and back. I also had some troubles getting signed out (the button didn't do anything!) but somehow I did get it working.

when will we change to the new server ?

We have actually had a new more powerful dedicated server in place since the beginning of April 2010. This new server runs the Beoworld web Site, Wednesday forum, a Backup forum, a Test forum running upgraded software and all the various technical web pages.

The main forum here is running on a different server in the east coast of the US.

There are two other servers which are only used as a backup depositry for the live sites. and the forum is automatically back'ed up at 2am every day and every week the backup forum is updated from the live forum.

I upgated to gold some 6 month ago, on the Wed thraed I'm still listed as silver, the Gold membership is worth every penny, all the manuals and upon that the funny price draw once a month, good decision Søren.

The Wednesday Thread runs on the same server as the Beoworld web site and was a copy of the main forum when we started running the Wednesday thread as a seperate forum. Any changes to your profile i.e. Silver to Gold will ONLY be reflected on the main forum.

When you upgrade or renew your membership via the Beoworld web site this is reflected in an encrypted cookie on your PC, so when you next go to the main forum these new details are picked up. Currently we do not produce a seperate cookie for the Wednesday Forum.

If this is an important issue for you, then I can manually update your status on the Wednesday thread forum.

The Wednesday thread runs on a test server so that explains the discrepancy there. There have been some issues with the profile panel - best to write to Lee or Keith about that one.

I upgraded from bronze to gold a couple of days ago, in my "main page", I can see that I am a gold member, but in my current posts I am listed as a bronze member. What is happening?
