Switching to L or R (or even the center position, not sure what that means though) does not make a difference. Well I should rephrase, after switching the buzzing is slightly less for one or two seconds and than it is the same again. Strange thing is that the buzzing also occurs when only the powercord is connected and the line signal is not. I've unpowered and powered the speakers (with more than 5 minutes in between) and I have left them powered on for 15 minutes without any change. They don't go into standby at all when the line signal is not connected.

Re: BL8000 buzzing sound

I assume you've got them set to 'Line' ?

If you switch them to 'L' or 'R' does the buzzing stop?

However, lately the BL8000's make a buzzing sound when they are not attached (RCA disconnected) to the television or when they are attached but the television is turned off (the power light on the speakers also stays green). As soon as I connect them to the TV again and turn the tv on, the buzz is gone and sound is projected fine.

Does anyone have an idea where this is coming from?

Thanks.
