I do have full control, but as mentioned above, it doesn't seem possible to get the MPAV menus (eg tuning) to appear on the Avant. Which is a pity. It is simply connected via the Masterlink cable, with the Avant set to Option 2, and the MPAV (supposedly) set to option 0.

-sounds very interesting... do you have full control of the MCP9000 though the Avant? (CD, radio, tape)

The Masterpanel AV9000 only works in combination with the AV9000 with Software 1.2.

Sofware above 1.2 doesn't work.

Really!!!!

The Software 1.1 at the Masterpanel lost timer function.
The timer at yaer 2000 did not work.

Software 1.2 for the Masterpanel is possible.

Weeeeeelll.... I will sell it for a reasonable price if it can't be made to work with my Avant or one of the MX's. In the mean time, my MPAV has SW version 1.1, and I have a masterlink cable sitting there idle... so wish me luck, I'm going to flick the switch. If you hear a sonic boom... :-)

Hmmmm... so we think these work with Avants, do we? I have one that I may have to try that with....

Up til now it has just sat forlorn and unloved in its box....

The MPAV9000 was the control center with Radio/CD and Tap deck for the 2 Way AV9000.

Only working with software < 1.2.

On an AVANT will this Sytem work, but without any Display information like Source and Track.

It was an cable connectet remote System with audio Sources.

A beauty system in combination with the famous AV9000, i like these TV.

It was the Masterpanel AV9000 which looks like an Ouverture - often available cheap on eBay because it won't work with anything but an AV9000!

This is a common topic - and it is often the same MPAV9000!

On purely economic grounds, the MPAV9000 can only be used with a AV9000 - the ML drivers are in the TV. It is theoretically possible to do something to get it working but with the prices of Ouvertures falling, it is simply not practical and the end result will not be satisfactory. They always look like bargains but are not really!

I have recently come across an MPAV 9000 on offer. Does any of you know if this can be used with an Avant, with or without modification? If modification is needed, what is required in terms of work , skill and/or funds?
