He doesn&amp;#39;t just re-tip but also replaces the rubber suspension that can / nearly always does perish over the years. If Axel charged double it would still be better value than buying any second hand MMC.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I have a beogram 5005 but the needle needs replacing in the pickup.&amp;nbsp;
The normal ebay / froogle searches don&amp;#39;t come up with anything on the cheaper
side of things.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;From what I gather the pickup cannot be repaired, is there a cheaper
alternative to be able to play records again, maybe a different stylus
model or manufacturer?&lt;/p&gt;
