Funny thing is that I have both HDMI cable and analog cables (because of the link rooms). CDs works fine in all link rooms, but not in the living room.

I have tried many alternatives in the setup menu, both in the 10-40 and the BDP, but still no sound from my speakers in the living room.

Mp3 on a usb-stick, same issue. BR- or DVD-disk, no problems.

Problem was solved with a spdif-cable or L/R cable running next to his hdmi. I forgot which cable...

Good luck!

Sony bdp s570 no sound on cd

A help request please.

A gentleman telephoned today to say that when his Sony bdp s570 plays CDs he has no sound through his set up.

The set up is;

BeoVision 10 40", with 2 pairs of beolab 6000s

This gentleman didn't buy his equipment from us, but I promised I would find out about for him and pay him a visit free of charge to see if we can fix the problem. He says his dealer has given up :(
