The advantage is the B&O feeling with one remote, and loading and watching CDs.

The settings will give the TV the control over the HiFi as all commands go through the MX. I like when my old LX (1991), controls any of my newer B&O.

Re: What lead do I need to conect my mx4000 to my beo2300 hi-fi

Many Thanks for your help !The sound is quite good from the mx4000 do you think it will sound better when connected to 2300? As previously stated the TV needs to be in "option 1" and the audio in "Option 0".

Option programming with a Beo4 is easy. The first step is to hold down the stnad by button and press "list". The display in the remote willcjange to "ADD?". Press the list button until the display shows "OPTION?" then press "GO". The display will now flash "V.OPT". Point the remote at the TV and press the number 2 button. The red LED on the TV will blink once to confirm that it has accepted the command.

Now to do the audio system. Stand by a dn list together. Press list to get back to "OPTION?" press "GO" to get "V.OPT" flashing, this time press "LIST" to change the display to "A.OPT". Now press the "0" button. The recd LED on the audio will flash to confirm the command has been accepted.

You have now option programmed the TV to respond to video & audio commands and switched off the remote sensor in the audio system.

You can now operate all functions via the remote sensor built into the TV.

Opman
