Last night we had tea in the back garden and just after we finished, the heavens opened. We then had a huge thunder storm and our house together with 7 or 8 others were hit by lightning. My Avant, Sky box and BeoSound3000 have all been affected. Engineer has been able to disconect the VCR section, which we seldom use these days and replaced Sky box so the video system now works.</p> <p>Now my only problem is that the BeoSound3000 &amp; lab4000&#39;s work perfectly except I don&#39;t get any sound. Even the headphone socket is dead. As good as my system looks, I would like to be able to hear it occasionally. </p> <p>At least slushy snow doesn&#39;t have an adverse effect on my system <img src="http://forum.beoworld.org/emoticons/06.gif" alt="Sad" /></p> <p>Opman</p> <div style="clear:both;"></div> <p></div></blockquote></p> <p>Not a cloud in the sky South of Manchester!
