That should work. Your BS4000 can be placed in option 5 or 6? If then it can be used locally

if you replace the BM1 with a BM5 you will keep the same functionallity

If you add a BS5. You control N.Music & N.Radio on the BS5. On the BV9 you can see info of N.Music & N.Radio (note: NO controll at all)

And you'll have the Web & Photo functionallity as on a BM1 on your BV9

To my knowledge your combination of a BS4000, BS5 & a BV9 is still not possible

Speaking with a dealer, they were of the strong opinion that replacing my Beomedia with a BM5 in my BV9 would result in no video from the BM5, i.e., no more Photo/Web on the screen. Yet, in the post archives, it is repeatedly mentioned that the BM5 has those features...except when mated to a BS5. In this case, Net Radio and Net Music move to BS5 control, and a post or two suggested that Photo and Web would still activate from the PC command.

Can anyone clear this up?

Also, if I add a BS5, i think i saw that one can now also include my old Beosound 4000 as well, at least with the latest BS5 updates. Anyone?
