Nobody actually said it involves lasering the retina. The facts stated were that laser surgery corrects issues with the retina - My last post on this.

I have to support Graham here - Alex is 100% wrong.

Laser eye surgery reshapes the cornea to adjust the focal length in much the same way as spectacles do. Lasering the retina would destroy your eyesight completely as this is the photo sensative area at the back of the eye which sends the image to your brain.

Yes, lol as you have posted, it helps to re focus light through the cornea onto the retina. The retina isn't altered by the surgery - What the retina recieves is affected. What, in Alex's post is wrong? Maybe it's the wording, or are you trying to pick an argument joeyboygolf?

I don't really know why the subject turned into laser eye surgery and I don't know if the language thermonology is some trick, but a very common laser surgery to correct eye sight, is done to the cornea, and done in such a way that the cornea bends the rays in another fashion than before (the cornea is responsible for the most bending of the rays).

I have just done it, and it has certainly nothing to do with the retina.

You can also correct the conjunctiva to refocus, like with glasses or lenses.

Laser eye surgery corrects issues with the retina, glasses merely re-focus the light when presbyopia becomes an issue (or the lens focuses incorrectly for some other reason).

This is what for I would like to use a Beolink 7000 - to have the information in the link room from the audio master in my hands.

I have a BeoLab 3500 in the link bedroom, which displays the information, but without glasses I can not see it...

With a system like BS3 controlling practically everything imaginable I would like to have two way remote to see what is happening. Now I need to power up the plasma display to change anything except volume.
