Negative. I have a cosmetically shot but electronically fine BM2400, an electronically shot but cosmetically fine (but in pieces) BM2400, and an all around nice BM1900.

Don't you have a 4400? That is the one I would choose - a lovely looking receiver and superb circuit design.

Because you need another working cassette deck....

At the rate I am going I will have as many working cassette desks as I do tapes !!

Now on the bench testing

about a two to three week rebuild/restoration project for the two. The electronics are done all that remains is some minor cosmetic work and cleanning.

The Beocenter 1600 is undergoing it makeover right now. Long forgotten and under appreciated set. I like it even if it aint currently hip, cool or popular.

This system is easier than the previous one I tried several months ago .

After 20 years, I've got another preset cover almost identical to the original one ...and a lovely DIY afternoon!
