Try another PUC socket? Try to avoid PUC 1 as it is a bit loose and you might the IR cable falls out? Is the IR emitter in the correct place as there are very powerful, what Sky HD box to you have as the placement varies between the original boxes and the new 1tb version.

i had this and found the ir cable was kaput, got a new one and no problem, also can have problems if the it cable slips difficult forremote to control.

I have beovision 10 40 with sky hd box.

I have a Beovision 10 40" with a Sony BlueRay and a Sky HD box connected and controlled by the beo5 remote control. All has been working perfectly for almost a year now but controlling the SKY box has become erratic.

The remote continues to operate the BlueRay and the basic functions of the TV but there is no response when trying to control the SKY box. When this happens the SKY box works perfectly with it's own remote control so I suspect there may be a problem with the PUC.

Has anybody else had similar problems?
