&lt;p&gt;You can control the BM1 by&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- using the software in the Avant as mentioned above. BM1 communicates over ML with the Avant.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- change settings in the setup menu of the BM1 so it will respond to eg VAUX. You will need a external ir-eye.&lt;/p&gt;

You&amp;nbsp;need to connect it via scart to the TV and although the Avant is a good TV picture, it isn&amp;#39;t a computer monitor, so the picture quality isn&amp;#39;t as good.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;i have a dvd1 and a stb connected to the sockets on the avant and to give yourselves a better idea all my system is connected via a beolink converter.&lt;/p&gt;
