The RIAA amp was an option on the Beomaster 6500 as well, and I suppose a very rare one at that. Anyway, thought I better test it all again to make sure all is aok. So, have established the Beocord 6500 sounds fantastic. The battered old beovox 1001s sound better than i thought. The problem is the two turntables I have, namely beogram 5005 and 1203 are really quiet, like they would be if the beomaster had no built in RIAA. </p> <p>So, as I notice the Beomaster 7000 didn&#39;t have one built in I&#39;m wondering if this was the case with certain Beomaster 6500s. If not, could the inbuilt RIAA be faulty or could there be another explanation.
