have one built in I'm wondering if this was the case with certain
Beomaster 6500s.

All of them! The RIAA amp was an option
on the Beomaster 6500 as well, and I suppose a very rare one at that.
I'm sure your kit works just as it is supposed to!

Beomaster 6500 - can't hear me records!

In another post I was offering for sale a beobundle of goodies. Anyway, thought I better test it all again to make sure all is aok. So, have established the Beocord 6500 sounds fantastic. The battered old beovox 1001s sound better than i thought. The problem is the two turntables I have, namely beogram 5005 and 1203 are really quiet, like they would be if the beomaster had no built in RIAA.

So, as I notice the Beomaster 7000 didn't have one built in I'm wondering if this was the case with certain Beomaster 6500s. If not, could the inbuilt RIAA be faulty or could there be another explanation. Both turntable sound fine through my Beocenter 9000

Any thoughts welcome!
