Thank you for your respone!

Yes, the "rear" speakers turn on, when thay are connected to the front outputs. All speakers are connected directly to the outputs on the TV, so they are not daisy chained (then the surround wouldn't work).

The strange thing is, that after switching cables back and forth suddently the rear speakers worked. It seemed as the rear speaker should be connected before the front ones. I don't understand why, and this is definately not described in the manual. Now I can use speaker mode 1-5.

Now I'm happy to have a working system, but I would of course like to understand why it didn't work in the first place.

Best regards

So now the "rear" BL8000 should turn on..?

Did you daisychain front Beolabs and rear Beolabs?

I just bought a set of Beolab 8000 as rear speaker for my television. Earlier I just used speaker mode "3" for my front Beolab 8000, Beolab 2 and the televisions own speaker.

The problem is now, that I can't get the rear speaker to work. I have tried to chance to speaker mode 4 and 5, but they never turn on. In the sound setup menu in the television, I allready set Beolab 8000 as front and rear speakers. I have of course checked the cables and the speakers by switching them with the ones I allready got.

Does anyone know, what can be wrong?

Regards

Jakob
