What we have to get going over here, is more help to each other with spares, cleaners, where to buy etc. etc. in Europe they have it easier, but over here its time consuming just to find a certain metric screw and so on, down here in Mexico its even more difficault, offen I have to buy in the US send to Texas and go up there to collect, at the moment I have 4 BVoxs and varius smaller items to pick up.

Screws & other hardware items are easy to send Soren - just ask & there are many of us (cold) Europeans who will gladly help. Cleaning products are a little more tricky, especially solvent based ones as exporting such items is a bit of a minefield.

I always try and contribute whenever possible. I love talking about current or new products even though the only current product I have is a Beo4!

As far as the loneliness goes, I feel your pain! Being in the US I have little time that overlaps with the majority of users.

I have many projects and threads I want to start up but time and money are both big factors for me right now.

David Lewis is also a great designer, I agree.
He has lived in Denmark for more than 30 years, I drive by his Design headquarter quite often.

as for your spelling please dont apoligize i always get my mucking furds wuddled.

that guy was really hurt by everyone stitching him up on his inventions. he was clearly a genius, they do say there is a fine line between insanity and genius. it come across as he was having a breakdown of sorts and he was no doubt looking for some sort of sympathy.

my heart goes out to him.

Einstein was quoted once that insanity is going over the same old problem and looking for different ways and answers (not succint)

millions of people have witnessed apples falling from trees, only one person asked why (sir isaac newton) sometimes im the only one who seems to ask why and see why what who and how. sorry if i came across as anal and outspoken

Jahur I'm very sorry, it was meant as a joke and I opologizes to everyone for the insult, I will take care not to do so in the future.

As for the "feeling alone" thread, I wrote that because it was the first time I saw that I was the only member on line.

I admire and respect the British and without you we would not have this forum, as for the spelling, I do my very best to get it right.

I tend to agree - we have strayed slightly off topic! On nationalities, I think most nations regard themselves as the best!- I think that is what patriotism is all about, and it holds for most countries. I think the diversity seen on BeoWorld shows why all nationalities should be valued. It is interesting that the happiest nation is usually Denmark.

I am sure Soren was simply having a little joke at our expense and I am equally sure he meant no offence. I must confess to having a slight tinge of envy as I am about to take the dogs out on a rather damp and grey morning. And this whilst clearing my daughter's bedroom - she is on an exchange visit to Stuttgart at present.

@dillen. why mention jacob??? hes not a brit. and yes i know what he achieved, i have had his creations and also have a bedside timer/alarm clock device beside my bed a more recent design of his......

this conversation started over a perceived insult to the british from soren mexico. and i was highlighting the greatness of my country and all great things that have and are being achieved by it, certainly not from a cave or a vitamin c deficiency as soren mexico so thought.

and if your getting at me claiming all beo products are not danish, they are and always will be. as for david lewis (the brit) has to stick to bangs original concept, david lewis puts his twist on things with exorcet precision. did this really need explaining?????
