&lt;p&gt;1. The tape lead has
 a 7 pin DIN plug - you will need to unscrew these pins so that the plug
 will fit the 5 pin DIN socket on the 1900.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2. You cannot record as the 1900 uses DIN standard and the 3500 uses LINE standard.
