The sticker on the 512MB module in my BeoMedia 1 reads as follows:

Hynix PC3200U-30330 0642

Korea 09 512MB DDR 400Mhz CL3

HYMD564646CP8J-D43 AA-C

When I looked it up on Hynix website and downloaded the 2002 Part Number Decoder for DDR SDRAM Modules here is how it reads:

HYM - Hynix Module

D5 - 512Mb DDR SDRAM (Component Group)

Blank - VDD 2.5V & VDDQ 2.5V (Power Supply & Interface)

64 - 64M (Memory Depth)

Blank - 184pin Unbuffered DIMM (Module Type)

64 - x64 (Data Width)

6 - 8K Ref. / 4Banks ( Refresh / Banks)

C - 4th Gen. (Die Generation)

Blank - Normal (Power Consuption)

None - TSOP (Package Type)

P - Lead free (Package Material)

The board used in the Beomedia 1 is VIA Tech EPIA MII-Series Mini-ITX Board which you can max out with 1GB memory.

I have a Beomedia1 serial 18xxxxxxx I am looking for the following information

Memory type and speed - currently installed is 256mb, I want to increase to 1gb but need to know the type to buy

Mother Board manafacture

any information would help
