The DVD2 is not one of B&Os high points in ease of use! Possibly because it is a rebadged Philips!

Try this!

Finalise discs

To be able to play a DVD+RW/-RW in a different DVD player, it is necessary to finalise it. After this no further editing or recordings can be made to the disc.

> Load the DVD+RW/-RW in DVD 2

> Press GO then 3 to enter edit mode

> Use the arrow buttons up or down to highlight 'FINALISE' and press GO


	·	A message appears:
	·	> press GO to proceed, or
	·	> select 'CANCEL' and press GO to cancel the operation

Finalising a disc may take more than 30 minutes.

While finalising a DVD+RW/-RW, do not open the disc tray or switch off the system, as this may render the disc unusable.

Does anyone know the method of finalizing a DVD-R disc in a DVD2 machine after copying from the hard disc.

I cannot find the option anywhere and if I try to play the disc on any other DVD player or in my computer if fails to play.

I have to put the disc into another manufacturer's DVD recorder and finalized it there, and then it will play on any DVD player.
