I just uploaded the Lintronic IR codes for the cinescreen to the database.Feel free to use them for your setup. As far as I remember IR commands of Samsung 800 projector are the same as for the 700 projector. You will find them in the database too. I`m using a Hitachi projector , Cinescreen, Lintronic 238 box and Lintronic relay board for my BV7-40 MKIII cinema setup. Controlling projector, screen, light and curtains. Works great.

Thanks for your input. Really appreciate it. It seems this Lintronic box is the future! Think I'll go with the Cinescreen and Samsung projector so at least 50% of it is recommended.

In my setup the Lintronic Box controls the screen including masking and a JVC HD1 projector. Both code sets have been compiled by Lintronic for me. Great customer service!

Lintronic is a very easy product to program. In particular if you are trying to trigger almost any product with an IR remote it will be absolutely simple. If you are interested in trigerring a screen action with a relay or even with a serial command both are possible. Be aware that both relays and in particular serial communications are a bit more difficult than IR. Still, their customer service in stellar so I think you'll be in good shape.

I have an optoma HD65 projector and a motorised screen connected to a mk3 BV7 all works fine even with a cinema button programmed onto a Beo5 remote

Hi, a dealer here. I have a customer who wants a cinema set-up but wants to put it together cheaply. He's having a BeoVision 7 40" MKIII with the blu-ray upgrade and of course BeoSystem 3. He's also happy to have the Samsung SP-A800 (fixed no motorised drop) but doesn't want to pay the price of a Stewart filmscreen, instead we have discussed a CineScreen HD200E from Armour Electronics instead. I have ordered a Lintronic - 238 and wanted to know how simple it is to programme the box to talk to the screen. Equally if any of you have used alternative screens or projectors that have worked well, please let me know as I want to find a good solution for the customer and I can give him the options as put forward by your goodselves.
