Also my bv3 is in the bay window so size does not matter (pardon the pun). Also you can pick up the bv3 on eBay for a silly silly low price I got mine for £150

Re: So excited about link room

I have my bedroom and lounge sorted for audio but also considering to add a B&O tv for bedroom - what would you recommend bearing in mind i have a small budget

Even though I'm using the early '90s MCL 2047 passiv boxes it really is a wonderfull option to have. It saves on having to turn up the volume in the "office" to hear it in the kitchen which is good as I live in a flat.

I can control anything by Beolink 1000/Beo4 or MCP6500 regardless of the room as long as it has a tranciver eye for the main Beosystem 6500 in the "office". This also means i can get the audio from the Beovisíon in the living room if I want to.

I do have 2 Beovisions but not yet connected but I do have the setup plan figured out.

Now its up and running I absolutly love it, i can go to bed and catch then end of the program im watching in the main room without paying for multiroom from my Sky.

Not one of my friends touches my system apart from the volume control as they worry they will break something and to be honest im happy for them to feel like this lol.

Now i feel i want to expand more.

Re: So excited about link room

Yes, I got just excited the first time I was able to control my BC7700 from the Kitchen - now I have everything linked and it's one of the reasons why I stay brand loyal. It's so much easier having the same remote in the link rooms and having access to everything.

I know that nowadays there is wifi and streaming and all sorts of clever stuff, but I want to be able to hear the radio and watch satellite in other rooms - and through the link system the picture on TV's is much better than off the sky box.

I've also found that when I have visitors they are afraid of using the system as they think it's complicated - half an hour later and they then want the same!

So excited about link room

Hi everyone
This is more of a statement than a question.

I just wanted to share that in all my years of owning bang and olufsen (since 1998) I never ever used a link room tv as i never had one.
I can now view my sky hd in my bedroom and control it via my beivision 3 up stairs and the picture is good.

Reminds me of why i. Love this stuff.
