I can&#39;t get it to recognise my (Mk 1, flat, rectangular) BeoLine Australian base however. I&#39;ve been pressing the recessed button on the back of the BeoLine to &#39;open&#39; it but to no avail.</p> <p>Am I doing something wrong or is the US phone simply incompatible with the Australian system? I&#39;ve bought other (corded) US phones and they work fine here.</p> <p>I think this is a later version of the Beocom 2 than my existing phones, but from what I&#39;ve read it should still work as long as the BeoLine has the latest version of the software, which it does.</p> <p>Hmmm...</p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
