&lt;p&gt;ive give up on the beosystem 2 now anyway. Gunna get a AV amp with pre outs and just control it with my beo5.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The BS2 transmits and receives its own turn on signal and stays on !&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;i know this has proably been covered many many times before and i have found a bit of info from searching.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;But has anyone managed to get a beosystem 2 to work with a non b&amp;amp;o panel e.g a non professional panasonic. i have a TH50PZ70 viera&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;all my collegues tell me that the bsys2 will NOT switch on with out&amp;nbsp;a rs232 capable panel connected to it.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;could i not fool it with a lintronic box....&lt;/p&gt;
