Definitely - There is no "Avant stand" - It's all part of the TV!

Thanks for your help - I'd looked at the size of the Avant stand and it would be too large under a BV3 so I assumed they are not compatible.

Hi - In short.... No! The stand is fully integrated into the Avant and wouldn't be physically compatible.

You can buy a motorised stand for the BV3, it might be worth calling round your local dealers to see if they have anything kicking around...?

My 1995 Avant screen 'popped' last week and I've replaced it with a 2006 BV3 which, I notice, has a motorised stand connection socket on the rear. As the Avant is uneconomic to repair, it'll be offered for spares but is the Avant stand compatible with the BV3? If so, any information on how to swap it will be gratefully received as I don't seem to be able to find any references to this being done and don't want to strip down the Avant needlessly.
