Has this problem ALWAYS existed or is it a fault which suddenly occurred ?

Penta III display does not switch off!

Hello BeoWorld Users,

I've got 2 BeoLab Penta 3 in the front, 2 BeoLab 5000 in the rear and a BeoCenter 9300 (connected via BeoLink Converter), all connected to a MX 8000 Dolby. Now the problem: when I listen to CD, Radio or Cassette (all sources from the BeoCenter) and switch off the entire system, the green displays on the pentas remain switched on!!! Weird enough, the 5000's displays switch off perfectly after system shut down...! Oddly, when I watch TV, DVD, VHS the displays go off as normal after system shut down. I really don't know what the problem is. The source switches in the foot of the Pentas are both on TV. I also did modify the Audio and Video Option Numbers on the devices.

It is definitely not the BC 9300 that causes this problem, because the same malfunction appeard when I had the Ouverture connected directly via MasterLink to the MX 8000. When I connect the Pentas directly to the BC9300 the displays do switch off normally.

This really makes me go insane because it's just not what I am used to and what I expect of B&O.

Please can anyone help me?

Best, Dominic
