Would
look at eventually going for a 5.1 surround sound. So will go from a BeoVision 10-46
and BeoLab 6000 to an eventual 5.1 system with the addition of a sub-woofer and
another set of speakers

In
to all sorts of movies but probably 1 in 5 movies would be some big action
movie

I think you should work with your dealer and get a loan of a Beolab 11 and then a Beolab 2 (or vice versa)

He stands to make a good profit from selling you an additional 3 speakers

So he should be very willing to help you choose what is best for you

Should have said that upstairs is for a TV room

so do you plan to go 5.1 surround sound eventually ?

what sort of cinema experience do you want ?

are you into big action movies ?

which Beovision ?

which BeoLabs ?

Re: BeoLab 2 or 11

Should have said that upstairs is for a TV room

Re: BeoLab 2 or 11

jthorn:

With the BeoLab6000 being moved upstairs for the BeoVision.

If this is to a bedroom and you are not using surround sound and lots of special effects etc then I would go to a BeoLab 11

Re: BeoLab 2 or 11

Some people complain about the Beolab2 being to slow and a little boom boom for their liking. The Beolab11 is good for the 6000. I have heard them with a beolab11 and they just sound great. I will be buying a beolab11 in the future to go with my 4000s.

BeoLab 2 or 11

I have ordered a BeoVision 10-46 and a pair of BeoLab8002.

The BeoLab8002 will be paired with my 3200 and BeoLab 2 downstairs for the main living/dining room. With the BeoLab6000 being moved upstairs for the BeoVision. In listening to the BeoVision and knowing the 6000's sound i feel that i need to have a sub-woofer as part of the set up.

I know that sound is a personnel thing, but what would the recommendation be between the BeoLab 2 or BeoLab 11
