Cheap and easy replacement but you need to be used to working inside a TV. There are dangerous voltages present even with the set turned off and disconnected from the mains.

The replacement battery costs around £3 and is soldered to a board in 3 places.

can anyone help me repair an mx1500?

hi,

ive just been to my mx1500 only to find that it resets it colour, volume and station programming to zero when its switched off. all the settings can still be turned up or down but it goes back to zero when its turned off and on again.

i would like to repair it myself if only for the education. i have lots of b+o and i would like to learn more about the maintenance and repair of my equiptment.

can anyone out there talk me through tests or inspections of likely faults?

any advice will be very much appreciated.

 thanks,

 jim.
