Perhaps the glass is glued to its frame, but that's not how you remove it.

First pull off the speaker frets; start carefully from the
bottom, the next two clips are in the middle and then two more at the
top.

Then you will find four (torx?) screws, two on each side,
and they hold the screen in place. Leave one of the top screws last and
be careful, the glass is heavy!

I can't find the spare part
numbers in the service manuals we have on site so I could confirm this,
but I believe the screen will be the same as in the older 28" LX
models. Thus a broken LX2802 or similar might work as a donor as well.

Re: contrast screen lx6000

maybe its possible i could take the screen from another lx6000, but how do i get it off? it looks like it have been glued on, should i use a heat gun?

Re: contrast screen lx6000

ok too bad, i just have to keep looking for a lx screen then...

just bought a nice lx6000, but it has no contrast screen because the last owner had a little accident...

so now im looking for a new-used one but i can only find some for mx`s, will it fit ?

im also looking for a wall mount (if it exist for lx6000?) but again i can only find one for a mx tv,

could i use that one maybe with a little modification?
