Congratulations,
I also remember both the feeling when I could not afford to purchase any B&O and when I finally had enough of courage (not money) to buy the first set (BC 9000, BG 9000 and Beovox 3000's) in 1988, all of the running like new. I am anxiously waiting for DVD 2, running out of patience...

I too started with A8's, wow that is going to be such a beautiful stereo to own. What an excellent choice, having a BeoSound 4 with BeoLab 8000!!

Enjoy your new kit - a sound start. Interestingly I had a flyer through the post today from my local dealer offering a free BeoSound 3 with the setup you've just bought. Not sure if it's just a local offer, but it maybe worthwhile seeing if it applies to you.

My foray into B&O started with a pair of A8s, the stuff is compulsive.

I'm 48 and got my first B&O in 1993. That day will always stick in my mind.
Dealer chucked in a BS3 as well! Can't be bad.
Only downside is you have now contracted the Beovirus. We'll be seeing a lot more of you!

I think we all know that feeling.

I am still the same now at nearly 45 years of age - once bitten by the B&O bug it never leaves you. Get the house to yourself for an evening with your favourite tipple to hand and sit there like a Cheshire cat all night

I still remember the feeling i got when i got my first B&O, and let me tell you, that feeling doesnt change when you recieve anything B&O, even recieving my Beoworld mug from the gifts section felt like an early birthday gift.

You will get many years enjoyment from your purchase.

The 8000's are a fantastic speaker, and the BS4 is the latest kit.

I'm sure you worked hard for it, so get yourself a nice bottle of wine, dig out your favourite CD's and prepare for some relaxing listening!
