Oh yes, then it is definitely best to get that one fixed! I assumed the cart was missing completely.

The link you quoted is for an elliptic stylus, so it will actually be a slight upgrade - the end result will be just like an MMC20E.

I'll try Axel, he has some good deals on refurbished cartridges.

I tried to look earlier, but he doesn't seem to have any of these models on the webshop (doesn't mean he couldn't still sell one, though).

You could also buy one with a broken needle from fleaBay and send it to Axel for repair. The "working" (and even NOS) cartridges will need it sooner or later anyway.

Any cartridge from MMC3000-6000 series will also work.

I think I have a working MMC20S sitting somewhere - I don't want to sell it as I'll need it myself some day, but I could borrow it while you look for another.

Hello,

You can use all the MMC20-series of carts, the S was the cheapest then, but In my opinion it sounds better than the E, EN and CL if it is an old one. It kind of gets the B&O sound right with a warm bass and overall well balanced soundstage.

Try to look after some non-working turntables on your local listing site, They must be equipped with a MMC20S, MMC20E, MMC20EN or MMC20CL.

Hi guys,

A friend of my fathers have an old B&O system that he needs an MMC 20S cartridge for...

Where can I find one for him, and is this the only one, or is it to similar specs to that of other MMC cartridges?
