&lt;p&gt;However, before you splash out on a battery I&amp;#39;d recommend checking you charging base. &amp;nbsp;Make sure the contacts are clean (on the phone as well), and that the light on the phone comes on when you dock it. &amp;nbsp;Once you&amp;#39;ve established the actual charging isn&amp;#39;t at fault, then it can only be the battery.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The batteries are available on eBay, or of course at your dealer. &amp;nbsp;From memory they&amp;#39;re about &amp;pound;15-20 ish..&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;My Beocom 6000 has started to act strangely. When it receives a call it rings once and then turns off. It is totally dead then, but I can call it back to life by pressing the DOT button.
