Apparently you do not need to assign the audio master when it is option 0 !

found this in the install manual

p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 9.0px Helvetica; color: #202023}
span.Apple-tab-span {white-space:pre}

BeoLink products have no fixed address, so you provide an address yourself in the column MLN (Master Link Node). Once you finish addressing each product, you need to associate that address with the actual products. This procedure is called product assignment. It is recommended to use continuous numbers starting with 1 (this will simplify the product assignment process).

!	AudioMasters in Option 0 should not be included in the list because they are controlled through the VideoMaster.

so reading a manual does help .....

I have a MLGW to test this weekend :-)

I'm trying to configure it but i experience some problems :

this is the config :

living : BV9(option2) + BS9000(option0)+ Beosound5 + BL9 + BL 3 (connected to BS3
kitchen, bathroom, garden : BL passive
office : BL active
bedroom : BL 3500

I created an xml file for the beo5 which i used to configure the mlgw.

All is ok, but i have a problem in the livingroom with the BS9000/BV9

When i ask to "assign" the BS9000, it accepts it but it will de-configure the BV9
Same happens when i assign the BV9, it de-configures the BS9000
the ipad/phone tool works but not in the living room (ony the BV9 or the 9000, not both)
It seems there is a conflict between the BV9 and the BS9000

any ideas what i could do wrong ?

best regards

nico
