Hallo Swiss.

Strange that electronics can be a little defective. In the world of bits and bytes I thought there is just on or off - means works / does not work.

So I will talk to my dealer and try if he can offer a Beoport for testing. Much better than exchanging the mainboard of the LCD. Thanks for the hint.

This sounds very familiar.

We experienced that issue 4 years ago in one upstairs bedroom. Checked ML junction box (no), checked the ML cable (not clear), pulled a new run of ML cable (no), and finally pulled everything apart and reconnected. Continued problem.

The problem was corrected with a replacement of the Beoport, which turned out to be a little defective.

the reason it work´s in linkroom 1 with beoport is that beolab are connected to pl socket on beoport not masterlink

in linkroom 3 the bl 2000 are not as sensitive to low voltage on masterlink as newer produckts like bv8-32

and maybe not so long cable between beoport and bl2000 compare to bv8-32 and b8-40?

It must be some kind of ML problem.

I agree. Here's a little troubleshooting logic:

1) Other link sources sound fine in room 2 so the ML input audio to room 2 and the BV8-32 is not the problem

2) N.Music/N.Radio sound fine in other rooms so iTunes, iMac, BeoPort and ML output from room 1 is not the problem

Therefore, I'd guess that there is some kind of connection issue between the audio output of room1 and the audio input of room2... although, it's not a general problem because then the other rooms would have issues. Perhaps room1 and room2 go through the same junction box and there is some kind of issue that only shows itself in room2 when the audio output from room1 is active... The description of the sound might mean that only 1/2 of the balanced audio is getting through.
