&lt;p&gt;The BeoSound is only connected to the 6000 speakers and the mains. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I am using the control buttons on the front panel, not the Beo4 remote.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;try unplugging mains for 30 minutes or so and then reconnect it, this should tricker the pinactivation.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Furthermore, is your BS 3000 masterlinked to something? If yes, try removing masterlink aswell, this sometimes screws things up.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Does the red light flash or is it constant?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;While in standby, try pressing &amp;quot;left arrow/rewind&amp;quot; twice. This should give you the oppotunity to enter pin.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The Red standby light is lit on the main unit &amp;amp; 6000 speakers. Load button will open &amp;amp; shut player, glass doors operate.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;However nothing else does - no CD, no radio, no aux., nothing!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;We did suffer a power out here just after it was last used...&lt;/p&gt;
