&lt;p&gt;Im not at all a pro on electronics BUT i would start checking if the Beomaster isnt already &amp;quot;converted&amp;quot; for 110Volt ( i suspect that you are in USA). I personally have no knowledge on this but have seen talk about converting the AV7000 (USA-only addition for Beosystem 7000) for 230V-use wich with my very small knowledge was a &amp;quot;re-wireing&amp;quot; inside the transformer. Again I dont know the techs of this.....&lt;/p&gt;

While they looked brand new in black, as soon as I hooked Beomaster to a step-up transformer, it blew the transformer fuse, twice. With such a poor start, would you think it wise to PAY service to start digging in, or is it a fool&amp;#39;s errand and he should donate to the transplant center?  Thanks.
