After all the positive press the BeoVision 7 55" has gotten its hard to choose anything else. I also agree with the BeoLab 10 center speaker suggestion, it will give you ALT everywhere, uniform sound and it is a mono channel.

Agree. 7-55 would also be my choice. Together with a BL10 Center speaker.

Building the home theater was my idea, and my father agreed that.

So planning the entire thing is my job. ( My father only cares about the Money........)

And I will include all the B&O that I have now. (bl2 bl3 bl7-2 bs3)

Also I will add beolab 9 as front speakers.

Afterall, the issue is Monitor.

Samsung , LG , or B&O

I want the BV 4 -65.

But the problems are.

1st, Money.

2nd how long the BV4 remains as the top of the TVs

Actually, the first reason for the BV4 is the integration of AV system.

Cause I don't want SAMSUNG remote on the table...

essentially it's a matter of wallet/lifestyle...

i own a beovision 4-50 and after 5 years i can say it's a very good plasma tv obviously,but can't compete with top of the line of the moment!

but you have B&O at home,which is a matter of brand/lifestyle....

if you pay 30.000$ for a plasma, the last think you should care is it's his reliability/life spam...with the same amount of money you can change tv every year with the top of line of Samsung/Panasonic....but you don't have a B&O.

3rd possibility...... go for a second hand product(B&O),you can save a lot of money(personally if i could turn back the time,i'm not sure i would pay 16k € for a beovision,when on ebay you can find very interesting insertion)

Well with that kind of money, I would listen to what my father has to say!!!!!!

And frankly spoken if indeed your father is setting up the theater room I guess it's his call first.

But from my point of view, all Tvs are getting old by the month and in five years I assume that only B&O will still have the same colors etc.

Currently I have 5 B&O TVs and none of them has lost or faded after many years of use.

Just of course my two cents......

Hi Jjjaw

First of all, just to clarify. Who is making this theaterroom, you or your father? I am asking because i was a little confused when i read about your current setup, then about your farther wanting to setup a theaterroom, and the again what you should do in Your situation.

Could you maybe please clarify just a bit as the obvious choice depends on wether the new theaterroom includes your current B&O stuff, or wether it is build from scratch.

Hi. I'm a student of South Korea.

My home's system is now bl3, bl2, bs 3 and bl 7-2.

TV is LG's 55 inch screen.

My father is going to make a theater room

And I told him that the new bv 4 65 is the best thing ( in Korea bv4 is about $30000 ; only for screen lol)

But he wanted led lcd tv from Samsung ( 65c8000) that's price is $10000 in korea. Everything's price is crazy

anyway he thinks that after 5 or 6 yrs later The $30000 BV4 will be a junk like a old fat TVs

what would do you if you're in my situation ? ??
