At the beginning I was quite against Apple tV, however with the ATVFlash, ATV became an excellent media center which I would highly recommend. Already with 160Gb and the possibility to add a NAS I think there is nothing more somebody could ask for. In the past, I had other media players as well but from my point of view combination of Apple TV with ATVFlash is the best.

It's actually not bad. Especially the WD TV Live Hub. I've sworn off AppleTV once and for all and this device seems to be the best option I've found.

I was browsing the local HiFi/PC/record (what a combo) store yesterday and came across the two WD offerings - one is 1080i and the other is positioned as 1080P with the label HD.

Very affordable, but I suspect the interface is not as elegant as the Apple TVs

I use a Mac Mini (old version with DVI) on which I have installed Windows 7 Bootcamp. WIndows Media Center with Media Browser plugin is perfect.

The apple remote is recognised by my BV7 even with bootcamp.

Emtec Movie Cube and Dune BD Prime 3.0 (mediaplayer + blue ray) are also in the Puc.

Plex (Apple remote) for me..

AppleTV works too. I have a 160GB version that I use and it works well for me. I don't like all the apple software on my PC so I use it with XBMC & Boxee so no need to install iTunes and using thase allows more types of media to be played as they install far more codecs that Apple have.
