Robust, Cheap and excellent for everyday use.

But in case there is big kitchen space, I think it would make sense to use the Beolab 3500 as it is more elegant and can be placed everywhere in the wall giving a very nice decor as well.

Re: Which speaker in the kitchen ?

I just decided to go for a pair of BeoLab 4 mounted to the ceiling and match the color of the coviering to the colors used in the kitchen.

We have two, and the one in the kitchen is the most used speaker in da house. Compact, excellent sound, easy to clean (no cloth) and so easy to change volume (without remote).

Re: Which speaker in the kitchen ?

BeoLab 2000 is more robust and compact than BeoLab 3500, so it would be the ideal choice for a kitchen or bathroom (I have one in the bathroom); as others said, it is also much cheaper and has source, volume & step controls on it.

Re: Which speaker in the kitchen ?

If you only want sound, i´ll recoment Beolab 2000 & Beolab 3500 as well.

Do you want sound or a full TV set with everything.

If sound is what you want the Bl3500 is a good choice. But you can also try the BL2000 which sounds very well and is quite a cheap option now. I use a BL2000 on my terrace and love it. Depends also a little on the space available.
