It should work with the avant, because the connection between MX8000 and Beomedia 1 was a Scart Adapter (S-Video + Cinch) and Masterlink. I guess it should work as long as you have a free Scart plug.

The Beomedia 1 itself I controlled via a directly connected BeoLink IR eye.

Yes it will.

I used it with my MX8000 befor getting a digital TV.

The disadvantage is that the resolution on MX8000 is not very high, so not really usable to go into the internet or to view pictures.

Just for n.music and n.radio it is perfect even with a MX8000.

Will the Beo media 1 work with an MX8000 TV ? Or is it only compatible with digital TV?

Has any one got any tips on how to get the best out of this device?
