For me it was a 1 minute job after removing the back plate of the MCPAV. I'm not quite sure why this happened but also other people confirmed this to me that it worked for them.
Maybe you can contact our member Ulf directly (usually posting on the German section) and discuss it with him.

But as mentioned previously, this is also a standard procedure for the B&O Technicians as well when a Master Panel is brought for service (they cannot have the AV9000 as well!!!!!!).

Re: Beovision AV9000 switches off after 5 mins of viewing.

Spiros:

Let me know if it did work out for you.
Hi Spiros,

To good to be true, it did not work! Made the link on the ML connector internally as you said (4 and 6) but no control and display on the Masterpanel. In fact, it doesn't make any difference with or without the link. It can be controlled via the Avant though but not by the Masterpanel itself Did I missed something beside soldering a link?

Re: Beovision AV9000 switches off after 5 mins of viewing.

Leslie:

Spiros:

Hi Leslie, All buttons work perfectly on the MCPAV and you also see the source etc. Best regards Spiros

It was an advice from my friend Ulf and it worked directly without any problems. You have to connect (bridge) the pins 4 & 6 in the Master control Panel which for B&O is the test mode.

It works like a charm!!!

Hope this helps.

Best regards
