The fist main difference: the size of the screen. it looks like the 4:3 format change to the 16:9 of the tv-stets

Beophile.com website says that the Be6 is rumoured to be a two-ways unit and produced especially for the upcoming BS5 Encore.

BTW, I hope we will able to configure ourselves the Beo6 as the hefty price to get the actual Beo5 configured is around 300 euros (B&O store Champs Elysées, Paris, France).

The Beo5 is great imho, I use it daily, and am quite fond of it. Perfect for the bedroom after the Beo6 I guess!

Hello,

I was told by a B&O dealer the an upcoming Beo6 will be launched in the beginning of year 2011. This new B&O remote will replace the actual Beo5 that will be discontinued in January 2011.

Compare to the Beo5, the new Beo6 will have a larger screen, some said, close to the size of an iPhone's touch screen. The new remote will be thinner compare to the Beo5.
