Now I'm ready for it, but my wife just started to study at uni again. So I will (happily) stay with my LX for three more

Re: hello and help with lx4500 please

Not worth a great deal - though the DVD player, if a B&O DVD1, is worth a fair bit more. £50 for the TV and maybe £200 for the DVD1 if in perfect condition.

The set is a 4:3 so not ideal in the modern world. However I still use an LX6000 most days! Lovely picture and will work fine as a link set. I'd keep it personally!

hello and help with lx4500 please

hello beoworld people, first post so please be gentle with me!

i'm really after some info / advice if you don't mind.

a friend of the family has recently decided to treat himslef to a new b&o tv and he's a bit too old (80 odd) to be sorting out and moving on his old b&o tv and that job has come to me, the tv is fairly old but in excellent conditon complete with motorised stand, dvd player, remote control. the tv is a beo vision lx4500, haven't got a model number of the dvd player yet. the main things i'd like to know is this still a viable tv set in the modern era of hd, 3d etc. etc. and if it is what sort of value would it have or would i be best off keeping it.

thanks for any info / help
