&lt;p&gt;Check the wiring between the boards 14 and 15 (Filters in the bottom). Bad junctions could cause this behaviour.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If you are able, then check resistor R1. This one might (almost) be burnt to death. (And so almost a great resistance is measured instead of a few 3.3 ohms)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I also would consider/advice to replace all the capacitors on both the filterboards.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I have problem with my Pentas. The sound is somehow fuzzy und unclear , especially with higher volumes.&amp;nbsp;The midranges sound and feel almost mute. Most of the sound comes from the bass and high range elements. Foamrot is not an issue, the midranges were replaced about two years ago. There is no&amp;nbsp;noticeable difference in a pair. What could cause this? Crossover?&lt;/p&gt;
